In 1996, Copam Egypt initiated its activity in the field of the retarders with M/s Voith Turbo 

After years of hard work & tremendous support from our principals, Copam succeeded in convincing  a number of Transport Authorities in Egypt to install our Retarder in their coaches in spite of the flat nature of the Egyptian land . 

Nowadays their fleets include approximately 500 City Buses running in Cairo streets supported with Voith Retarders .
